Firm breaks out the bubbly at new home

A PERSHORE company is celebrating its expansion into bigger premises.

CMCS specialises in disaster recovery for the critical mailing industry – if a client cannot get its invoices out due to unforeseen problems, CMCS does it for them, avoiding a costly delay in payment. Customers include banks, building societies, telecoms firms and insurance companies.

Due to an increase in business in the five years since it was established, the company is due to move its 23 staff from Pershore to new premises on Stonebridge Cross Business Park, Droitwich.

Neighbours will include BUPA, which has its distribution centre there, and Robert Wiseman Dairies’ £35m milk processing plant.

CMCS will move into a new 31,000sq ft warehouse and office unit on the 77-acre park, which is being developed by Stoford Developments, in Edgbaston, Birmingham.

“Within our new premises, we will be creating a state-of-the-art, highly secure mail facility dedicated to the provision of long-term disaster recovery services,” said Angus Stormonth-Darling, a director of CMCS.

“We operate a 24-hour service using high-speed printers and secure insertion equipment.

“Stonebridge Cross is ideal for our purposes, not just because of its access to J5 of the M5 but also because we have been particularly impressed by the developer’s keenness to match our needs for 24-hour monitored site security.

“We can now develop a facility that is the equal of those of our high-profile, household name customers.”
